About Us
Sca_chuka is a chapter of She Code Africa focused on empowering and celebrating ladies in tech at Chuka University. Sca_chuka began in September 2023 and currently has 200+ members. The main goal of Sca_chuka is to empower ladies taking STEM courses to actively develop innovations and champion them alongside their male counterparts.The STEM field is traditionally male-dominated,especially in developing countries such as Kenya.Sca_chuka seeks to bridge this gap.

International Women's Day
We hosted an IWD (International Women's Day) event at Chuka University where we partnered with Tropical Heat Kenya and had amazing women in Tech who came and inspired us.

Project Launch
We launched a project aimed at creating the SCA_CHUKA chapter website.

Bootcamp
We have an organized bootcamp where we are collaborating with SCA_BENIN, SCA_MALAWI, and SCA_ESTAAM.
